The hydraulic cylinder is an actuator in the hydraulic transmission system, serving as an energy conversion device that converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy. There are three main types of hydraulic cylinders: piston cylinders, plunger cylinders, and rotary actuators. Piston cylinders and plunger cylinders achieve reciprocating linear motion, outputting speed and thrust, while rotary actuators realize reciprocating swing, outputting angular velocity (rotational speed) and torque.
